1960s DEADSTOCK Cotton Floral Button Up Short Sleeve Day Dress size S

Get that timeless vintage look with this beautiful NEVER WORN deadstock day dress!

This dress was made in the USA during the early 1960s by “Meg Marlove”. It is made from 100% combed non-stretch cotton and still has the original tags attached! The dress is marked as a vintage size 10, but it would best fit modern women’s US sizes 2-6. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

The pretty all-over floral print consists of small blue, peach, and green 60s style flowers. The dress closes up the front with a full length row of pearly off-white plastic buttons, and the dress comes with a matching belt! The cuffed short sleeves look adorable with the collared neckline, and the pleated skirt is almost a full circle. There is also an additional 2.5 inches of seam allowance at the hem, so you could let out the length of the skirt if desired.

Add a petticoat for extra volume and some saddle shoes and you are ready for the sock hop!

Please note that there is a small rust stain on the lower front skirt from being stored for many years. The belt also shows a little age, but it’s not very noticeable when being worn. (See close up photos). The skirt pleats could also use a pressing if you intend to wear this lovely little piece of history for daily life.

Overall, this garment is in good condition. There are no rips or piling, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
