This vintage jacket is a classic piece that with be versatile with lots of other wardrobe pieces! It has recently been marked down from $45 to $25!
The jacket was made by hand in the 1960s. The shell fabric is likely a polyster/cotton blend, with a sophisticated paisley print. The jacket is fully lined with a polyester lining. This jacket is not water proof. There is no size indicated, but would best fit modern sizes 4-8. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
The jacket closes up the front with two rows of two fabric covered buttons. There are two functioning front pockets at hip level. The pocket flaps, buttons, and collar are all made from contrasting black velvet.
The sleeves are just a tad longer than 3/4 length. The straight silhouette and sleeve length are very reminiscent of the 1960s. This jacket would make a great project piece if you wanted to alter it, or would look great as-is paired with jeans and heels, a pencil skirt, or a little black dress!
Please note that there are some areas of slight yellowing around the cuffs, pockets, button panel, and collar. There is also a bit of wear showing on the inside of the collar on the velvet portion (see photo close up). These condition issues are not very noticable due to the print, and could likely be taken care of with a good dry cleaning.
Over all this garment is in good condition, and will be a timeless peice for years to come!
