Vintage Red and Black Paisley Knit Long Sleeve Sweater Dress with Scoop Back Neck size M/L
The print on this knit dress is absolutely fabulous!
The dress was made in the 1980s by Dawn Jay Fashions. The tag reads size 11/12, but it would best fit a modern women’s US size 8. Please see measurements below to gurantee fit.
The tag does not indicate the fabric content, but the knit is soft, not scratchy. The fabric has plenty of stretch to it, making this garment very flattering and comfortable to wear. The back neckline scoops down lower than in the front, and the slight puff sleeves give the dress an added element of visual interest. There is a small two inch shoulder pad sewn into the puff sleeve, but this could be removed if desired.
The medium sized paisley pattern is black against a red background, which makes it eye catching and easy to accessorize.
This dress is in excellent vintage condition and could easily translate from day, to evening, to Halloween! Pair it with a belt, leggings, and tall boots, or simply with your favorite pair of pumps!
