Dress up your little black dress with this fabulous vintage hat!
This pillbox-style hat was Union Made in the USA during the 1950s. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
This hat was originally sold at a boutique in New York. The blue union made tag peeks out from behind the boutique label if you look closely.
The hat is beutifully constructed, you can see and feel the high quality design in person. The base of the hat is made of cream colored wool felt with white, red, black and green feathers decorating the exterior in a smooth, sweeping fashion. Green mesh adorns the top of the hat, giving a little extra height and adding visual interest to the silhouette. This would make a great statement accessory for an event, or could also be worn as part of a costume!
The inner band circumference measures 20 inches around. The hat measures 7 inches across the top, and the rise is 5 inches tall.
Please note that there are a couple small areas of slightly browned discoloration on the feathers. These areas are shown clearly in the photos, but they are not very noticeable unless you are looking for them. The hat was stored in a smok-free environment and is overall in very good vintage condition.
