1960s Framed Acrylic Signed Unicorn Painting with Hanging Wire

This fabulous vintage unicorn painting would be perfect for a nursery, or would make a great housewarming gift!

The painting was created during the 1960s. The medium is acrylic paint on black paper. The painting is behind glass and comes in a frame that is wired and ready to be hung. (Please excuse my reflection in the glass of the frame!)

The painting is signed by the artist, Diana. The magestic unicorn has a beautiful main and is composed of cream, white, blush, and peach tones. A burgundy border outlines the unicorn to complete the image. Her use of color against the black paper creates a whymsical and striking image that will go with just about any interior design color palette.

The painting comes in a frame that measures 12.5 inches tall, by 6.5 inches wide. The frame is red and metallic gold painted wood. The back of the frame has the gallery sticker from Continental Art Center in East Orange, New Jersey.

Please note that the back side of the frame shows its age a bit, there are some tears in the paper backing, but it is not noticeable when it is hanging on the wall. Over all this unique piece of art is in very good condition, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
