This gorgeous leather belt is sure to kick your outfit up a notch!
The belt was made by Karen Miller during the 1990s. It is constructed from genuine leather, with horse hair and metal accents. There is no size indicated, but it is adjustable and would best fit waist sizes 27 inches to 31 inches.
The zebra print horse hair is truly the star of this piece! The black and white striped animal print contrasts beautifully against the black and orange leather. Silver metal studs border the edges of the belt and tie in nicely with the circular silver buckle.
This is a waist cinch style belt so it is meant to emphasize the smallest part of the natural waist. It would look fabulous paired with a black dress, or leggings and oversized flowy blouse!
The widest part of the belt measures 3 inches. The buckle also measures 3 inches across.
Please note that there are a couple areas where the horse hair has rubbed off (see close-up photos) but these areas are hardly noticeable because of all the other lovely design details.
Over all this belt is in good vintage condition and it has a lot of life left in it! There are no tears or stains, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
