1950s MINT with BOX Stetson Grey Royal Deluxe Fedora with Original Box size 7 1/4

This fantastic vintage fedora is just the thing for any dapper gentleman looking to kick his style up a notch!

This fedora was made by Stetson during the 1950s. This is the “Royal Deluxe” Style in a light grey color. The hat is a size 7 1/4, and it comes with the original box. Please see details below to guarantee satisfaction and a good fit.

Box:
The cardboard hat box is from Dobbs Fifth Avenue in New York. The hat (and box) were ordered and sold at Fredricks in St. Albans, Vermont. The Box is marked “For: Bill”. The graphics on the box are in excellent condition, depicting a horse and carriage and the maker’s logo. The white and yellow graphics really pop against the black background!
The box has an octagon shape and measures 13 inches by 15 inches across the top of the lid, with a 7 inch rise. There is a cardboard band inside to support the hat and help keep its shape. Aside from a few minor scuffs and one small tear (see close-up photo), the box is in very good vintage condition.

Hat:
This Royal Deluxe felt fedora is a lovely taupe grey color with a .25 inch ribbon. This hat looks like it has never been worn! The vinyl lining isn’t clouded, you can see the Stetson logo perfectly. The brown leather inner band has the maker’s mark, as well as the Frederick’s mark in metallic gold lettering. The hat has kept its shape nicely over the years, and there are very little, if any, signs of wear.
The inner circumference of the band measures 21 and 3/4 inches around. The brim is 1 and 3/4 inches wide, and the rise measures 5 inches tall.

This would make a wonderful gift, great for a formal event, or could be a fantastic costume piece for film!
