1950s White Beaded Clamshell Purse with Floral Hardware and Gold Chain Strap
This lovely vintage purse is just the thing you need for your event!
This handbag was made in Hong Kong during the late 1950s. It is constructed from silk, brass, and glass beads.
The impeccably beaded exterior of the bag is the shining star of this piece! Shiny white glass beads are arranged in an art deco style floral design on both the front and back of the purse.
The hardware on the bag is quite beautiful too. A pearly white and gold floral design decorates the hardware by the opening of the purse. The bag opens clam-shell style to reveal a light pink silk lining. The lining has a couple small marks on the inside, but over all is very clean and in good shape.
The body of the purse measures 5 inches tall, by 7.5 inches wide. It is large enough to hold your smartphone plus all of the daily essentials. It would be perfect for your wedding day, prom, or formal event! The gold tone chain strap hang 11 inches long, but could be doubled if you prefer a shorter strap.
This item is in very good vintage condition. There are no stains or missing beads, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
