Keep warm in style by sporting this timeless vintage wool coat!
This coat was Union Made in the USA during the 1960s. The style is called “Mar-Del by Price”, and the store label reads “Homer Fitts Co. Since 1886, Barre, Vermont”. There is no size indicated, but it would best fit modern women’s US sizes 6-8. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
This lovely little slice of history is very flattering to wear. The rabbit fur collar is elegant and extremely soft. The coat closes with a belted waist, showing off the most narrow part of the torso. There are pockets at the side front hip. The mod design of the functional pockets is so cute!
The coat is fully lined with a great acetate lining. As shown written on the label, this garment was previously loved by the original owner, Jane Goodrich. She told me that this coat kept her warm and snug during frigid Vermont winters, and in her words, it made her feel like “hot shit!”. Haha!
This garment is in excellent vintage condition. There are no holes, stains or piling, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
