This necklace was made in Hong Kong during the 1960s. It is made from a beautiful translucent ruby plastic that you just don’t see everyday!
This beautiful necklace is made up of carved plastic flower beads in a striking cherry red color. It has roses on one side, and groovy daisies on the reverse side! The flowers are the focal point of the necklace, and they hang upon a strand of alternating spherical red beads and tiny gold balls.
The necklace measures a total length of 19 inches long, and the widest part of the necklace measures .75 inches wide. It secures with a gold-tone simple spring ring clasp. Please note that this type of plastic has a naturally cloudy appearance. Aside from some very minor signs of age, it is in very good vintage condition, and was stored in a smoke-free environment.
This necklace would be a perfect gift, and would look stunning for a luau or holiday party!
