Arrive in style wearing this incredibly dapper antique Yeddo boater hat!
This hat was made during the 1920s by “Artis Et Faciendo”. It is made of genuine straw with an interior leather band and fabric bow. The hat also comes with the hat box! It is marked as a size 7 and ⅜, please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
This hat is unlike your typical boater hat, the straw is puffed and woven into an intricate design that is very pleasing to the eye. The hat is very lightweight and has a black fabric bow on the left side.
The circumference of the inner band measures 22.5 inches around. The rise is 3 inches tall, and the brim is about 2.25 inches wide. Please note that there are a few small imperfections along the front edge of the brim. Overall, it is in amazing condition for its age and has a lot of life left in it!
This hat comes with the box in the photos, which keeps the delicate straw from being crushed. The hat box is from the 1950s by Hopkins of Baltimore and features a different U.S. landmark on each side such as the Golden Gate Bridge, the Capitol Building, etc. The box measures 6.5 inches tall, and 13 x 14 inches across the top of the lid. While the box is not original, it makes for a stylish way to store or display this truly fantastic hat.
