1970s Floral Magenta Sleeveless Maxi Dress with Slit Neckline size L

Get ready for fun in the sun with this beautiful vintage maxi dress!

This dress was made by hand during the 1970s. It is made of a lightweight silk-feel polyester that has little stretch. There is no size indicated, but it would best fit modern women’s US sizes 10-12. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

The print on this dress is absolutely stunning; blue, teal, and white flowers pop against a bright magenta background, giving you lots of colors to accessorize with.

The dress has darts at the side bust, back waist, and side waist. It is fitted throughout the bust and shoulders and flares out from there, combining shift and maxi-style silhouettes that allow for comfort and easy movement. The dress closes up the back with a 19 inch zipper. There is about 2 inches of extra seam allowance at the hem, so the length could be let out a bit if desired.

This dress also looks great belted to highlight the natural waist! (Belt shown in photos sold separately- check the accessories section of my shop to find it!)

Please note that there is a small puck in the fabric at the bottom of the neckline slit where a bow used to be. There is also a small stain on the right side waist. (Please see close-up photos.) These issues are hardly noticeable due to the bold floral print. You really only see them when you are looking up close, and they could easily be disguised with a necklace or belt.

Overall this dress is in good vintage condition and it has a lot of life left in it! There is no pilling, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
