1950s Circle Top Handle Woven Basket Purse with Turnkey Clasp and Atomic Print Lining

Show up in style with this lovely vintage basket purse in hand!

This timeless accessory was made during the 1950s. It is made of woven reeds coated in a protective finish, with brass hardware, leather trim details, and a cotton lining.

This handbag has a rectangular shaped body that measures 11 inches wide by 8.5 inches tall and 4 inches deep. Including the circular handle, the total height is 12.5 inches tall. It has brass feet and stands up nicely on its own, and is large enough to hold all of the daily essentials and more!

The purse has a turnkey clasp and opens clamshell style to reveal a VERY clean purple tone atomic print lining. There is also an interior pocket for smaller items.

Please note that there is one small part of a reed on the inner handle that has broken off (see close-up photos), but it is hardly noticeable and doesn’t affect the look or functionality of the purse. There is also an area where the lining has detached from one of the inside corners. It’s not super noticeable and is still totally usable as-is.

Overall, this item is in good vintage condition. It has a lot of life left in it and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
