This lovely vintage cotton prairie skirt is sure to become one your favorite wardrobe staples!
This skirt was made by hand during the 1970s. It is made of lightweight, non-stretch, machine washable cotton. There is no size indicated, but the waist measures 30 inches around so it would probably best fit a modern women’s sizes 8-10. Please see full measurements below to guarantee fit. (Photographed and clipped on a small mannequin to show silhouette.)
The skirt is made up of 3 ruffled tiers with a hemline that lands below the knee. The colorful striped and floral fabric has hues of red, purple, green, teal, white, and orange, giving you lots of color options to play with when putting an outfit together! It closes up the back with a 7 inch zipper and the waistband secures with hook/eye closures.
The skirt is about a half circle, and shows off movement nicely. It would look great twirling around to music at a festival or on the dance floor. Pair it with strappy sandals in the summer, and tall boots in the fall…your options are limitless with this piece!
This garment is in excellent vintage condition and was stored in a smoke-free environment.
