1980s Gold Sequin Fringe Silk Vest with Adjustable Waist size M/L

Sparkle and shine in the spotlight wearing this dazzling sequin vest!

This vest was made by A.J. during the 1980s. It is constructed from 80% Rayon and 20% silk, with gold sequins and fringe, and glass tube beads. The vest is meant to have an oversized fit and is marked as a vintage size medium. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

This piece really shimmers in person and would be perfect for a stage performance or Halloween costume!

The front of the vest is adorned with vertical rows of gold sequins, with beaded trim around the neck, closure panel, and armholes. Gold fringe borders the front and back hemline and shows off movement nicely.

The vest closes up the front center with hook and eye closures. The back side is solid black and has a tie at the waist that can be tightened for a more fitted silhouette. The armholes are generous and allow for easy movement.

Please note that there are a few minor areas of wear. The bottom hook/eye closure is missing the hook, and there are a couple loose threads (see photos). These areas can be fixed with a little TLC, or it could totally just be worn as-is.

Overall, this garment is in fair vintage condition, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
