Create the cottagecore look of your dreams with this vintage needlepoint brooch!
This brooch was made during the early 1950s and measures 1 and ½ inches long, by 1 and ⅜ inches wide. It is made from needlepointed fabric that rests in an oval silver-tone metal setting.
This beautifully aged brooch was needlepointed by hand and depicts a pretty array of pinkish red and green flowers against an off-white background. The cameo-style setting has an antiqued silver finish and detailed filigree details around the border.
The brooch secures in the back with a simple interlocking ring clasp, and it lies nice and flat against the body. It would look lovely pinned to the bust of a flowy dress, to a straw garden hat, the lapel of a velvet blazer…so many possibilites!
Please note that there is some discoloration due to age, but it is shown clearly in the photos and it adds tons of vintage character. Overall, this item is in very good vintage condition and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
