1970s Boho Lace Jessica McClintock Wedding Dress size XS/S

This beautiful lace wedding dress was made in the USA during the 1970s by Jessica McClintock. It is constructed from non-stretch polyester, acetate, and nylon with satin ribbon trim. The dress is marked as a vintage size 7 but would best fit a modern women’s US size 0-2. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

This dress has a timeless boho vibe to it with a high sheer lace neckline. The romantic lace ruffles are prominent throughout the bodice and carry on throughout the full skirt.

The dress closes up the lower back with a long zipper, and the bodice secures with a row of pretty pearly buttons up to the back neck. A satin sash ties at the back waist, and the skirt has little gathered bustles with matching satin ribbons.

Please note the following alterations and minor imperfections:
This dress used to have sleeves. They were removed and the armholes were finished with a matching trim. The trim is a bit of an amateur hand sewn job, but it looks fine at a glance (plus you don’t really see it because of the ruffles around the neck and shoulder.
There is a small beige stain on the lower left front of the skirt (see close up photos), and some very minor discoloration on the lace collar (again, hardly noticeable unless you’re looking for it).

Over all, this dress is in good vintage condition and is totally wearable as-is. It would be perfect for a vintage bride on a budget, or could be used as part of a costume for film, cosplay, or reenactment.

Waist-12 inches across.
Hip- 22 inches across.
Bodice length from center back neck- 17 inches long.
Total length- 57 inches long.
