1960s Silk Block Printed Handkerchief Button Up Blouse size M

This shirt was made in Hong Kong during the 1960s by Sandra Roth Ciaosport. It is constructed from 100% silk that has been block printed by hand. It is marked as a vintage size 8, but it would best suit modern sizes 6-8. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

The blocked floral flame print on this top is simply stunning in person! The front, back, sides and sleeves are all strategically placed to create this visually striking garment.

The non-stretch fabric is cut on the bias so it drapes nicely on the human form. There are 5 inch slits at the side hips, and the shirt closes up the front 6 metal and painted enamel buttons.

Please note that there is one tiny stain on the left front chest area (see close up photo), as well as a small imperfection in the printing on one of the sleeves. These areas are not very noticeable unless you’re looking for it. Overall, this garment is in very good vintage condition, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.

Narrowest part of back shoulder between arm holes- 17 inches across.
