1970s Lavender Rayon and Lace Day Dress with Button Bodice size S

This dress was made during the early 1970s. It is constructed from a rayon blend fabric that is slightly sheer and has some stretch to it. There is no size indicated on the tag, but it would best fit modern women’s US sizes 4-6. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

This dress is filled with lovely little details such as sheer lace at the neckline and sleeves. The bodice has pleating and a panel of fabric covered buttons running up the front, and cute little ties at the collar.

The dress closes up the left side waist with a 12 inch zipper. Please note that there is an opening above the zipper where the stitching has come loose. There is also a seam that needs restitching at the right front armhole. There has been some amateur repair work on the waist seam as well, but it can be easily covered up with a belt. All of these easy-fix areas are shown clearly in the photos and have been reflected in the price.

Overall, this dress is in fair condition and it has a lot of life left in it! There are no stains, rips, piling, or missing buttons, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
