1988 5pc Sequin and Beaded Cat and Butterfly Sew-On Appliqué Set
Calling all crafters! Here’s the vintage applique set you’ve been dreaming of!
This 5 piece sew-on applique set was made in 1988 by Union Trading Company. The set includes a large mid-century inspired cat, with butterflies and tassel bows.
Each piece has intricate beading and aurora borealis sequins. The cat even has a bowtie made of little pearls and rhinestones. So fancy!
The cat measures 8.5 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide. The cat could stand to be pressed flat, she has a bit of a ripple from being stored for many years, but it’s totally fixable with a little TLC.
Overall this set is in very good vintage condition. It was stored in a smoke-free environment and would be perfect for a fun DIY project!
