1960s New Old Stock Dark Brown Cotton Button Up Skirt with Large Pockets size S

This skirt was made during the 1960s by “Peerless Sportswear of Boston”. It has never been worn, it was purchased with a lot of new old stock dresses from a boutique in North Carolina when it went out of business in the 60s. The skirt is made from a medium weight, non-stretch cotton. There is no size indicated, but it would best fit a modern women’s US size 6. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

This lovely pleated skirt has large side hip pockets and buttons up the front with shiny white buttons. There is white contrast stitching that really pops against the dark brown fabric, and the waistband has 1.5 inch belt loops. This skirt makes an excellent staple wardrobe piece and would look great paired with your favorite cardigans!

It could use some slight pressing to bring out the best of the pleats, but overall this garment is in excellent vintage condition. There are no stains, holes, or pilling, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
