Get a jump on your summer style with this timeless vintage playsuit!
This lovely little playsuit was made by hand during the early 1960s. It was found in my family’s 5-generation farmhouse in rural Vermont. It is made of a non-stretch, medium-weight, woven cotton fabric. There is no size indicated, but it would best fit a modern women’s size small or extra small. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
This playsuit has some really cute construction details, such as decorative flaps at the end of the shoulder straps, 1” belt loops so you can add a little belt of your choice, and flared gaucho style pant legs. The garment closes up the back with a 14” metal zipper that was likely added during the 1960s and still works beautifully after all these years.
Please note that there are a few small areas of slightly yellowed discoloration, mostly along the left side leg. These areas are not very noticeable, the fantastic black and white hatch print disguises the majority of the imperfections.
Overall, this unique piece is in good vintage condition with a lot of life left in it! There are no holes or piling, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
