1940s Witchy Rayon Bias-Cut Dress with Rouched Shoulders size S

Channel some witchy vibes in this well-made vintage dress!

This dress was made during the 1940s by Belly Hartford. It is constructed from lightweight non-stretch rayon fabric that has been cut on the bias so it drapes nicely on the female form. There is no size indicated, but it would best fit a modern size Small (model is a size 2/4). Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

This dress has some simple yet very elegant construction details such as rouching at the shoulders, and an art deco diamond shaped detail at the lower back. The dress ¾ length sleeves, a metal zipper at the side waist, and the hem lands below the knee.

While it would make an excellent costume, this garment is in very good vintage condition and is totally wearable for daily life. There are no stains, odors, or rips, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
