1950s Black and White Collared Fit and Flare Day Dress size M/L

This beautiful vintage dress is sure to become one of your wardrobe staples!

The dress was made by hand during the 1950s. It is constructed from a lightweight non-stretch fabric that has a silky feel to it. There is no tag or size indicated, but it would best fit a modern women’s US size Medium or Large. (The dress is pinned to a smaller mannequin in some of the photos to give an idea of the fit.) Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

This classic collared day dress has a fit and flare silhouette and a black and white all over print that could easily be dressed up or down depending on the shoes and accessories you pair it with. True to the times, there is no armhole seam, and the fabric was cut on the bias so it drapes beautifully on the female form. The dress closes in the front with 4 shiny black buttons, and there is gathering at the waist/skirt for added volume.

This garment is in excellent vintage condition. There are no stains, rips, or missing buttons, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.

Bust- approximately 18 inches across.
Waist- 16 inches across.
Hip- open.
Bodice length from center back neck to waist- 18 inches long.
Total dress length- 45 inches long.
