This hat was made during the early 1960s by Mr. John Jr.. It is constructed from woven straw with a textured fabric ribbon. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
This hat is in remarkable vintage condition! The straw is in impeccable shape and the colors on the white, navy, and blue fabric bow are very vibrant and clean.
This style of hat is meant to sit high on the head, it does not pull over your ears. This creates a very striking silhouette and was designed for warm-weather fancy occasions.
The brim measures 3 inches wide, the rise is approximately 4.5 inches tall, and the circumference measurement of the inner band measures 20.25 inches around.
Other than some very minor signs of wear on the inside, this hat is in like new condition. It has a lot of life left in it and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
