This gorgeous hair accessory is from the 1930s. It is made of tortoise celluloid that has been hand painted and adorned with colorful rhinestones. The comb has 3 prongs and measures 4.5 inches long by 2.5 inches wide.
The swirly painted details and scalloped edges give this piece a very art nouveau look. The rhinestones come in an array of pink, red, blue, yellow, green, and citrine. They really sparkle in person!
Please note that one of the prongs is slightly bent due to wear/age. But it is still totally usable and overall, this piece is in very good vintage condition.
