RARE 1970s Hilary Floyd Bias Cut Deco Painted Batwing Dress size S/M

Own your very own piece of vintage fashion history with this rare designer dress!
This dress was made in London during the early 1970s by designer Hilary Floyd. It is made of non-stretch rayon fabric with gorgeous metallic trim and unique gold and silver painted designs. The dress is marked as a vintage size 12, but would best fit modern US sizes Small to Medium. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

This bias-cut beauty has batwing style sleeves and is fitted throughout the waist and hips, giving it a very 1930s/1940s inspired vibe. The dress closes up the side hip with a zipper and there is an opening there above the zipper to allow for easy movement (see close-up photos), some may want to wear it with a slip underneath.

This garment is in excellent vintage condition with the only signs of wear being a small amount of fraying on the piped trim at the shoulder (shown in photos). The dress was stored in a smoke-free environment and would make a fantastic addition to your vintage collection.
