1980s Red Rouched Sweetheart Party Dress with Open Back size M/L

Be a vision in red in this stunning vintage party dress!
This dress was made in the USA by JC Penny during the 1980s. It is made from 100% stretch polyester that has a slight sheen to it. The tag is marked as a vintage size 15/16 but it would best fit a modern size medium-large. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit. (Some photos are pinned to a size small mannequin to show the silhouette.)

This dress has some very flattering construction details such as rouching throughout the waist and hips, shoulder pads, and a fun flirty skirt that looks amazing on the dance floor. It would be perfect for an 80’s themed prom or salsa dancing!
It has a sweetheart neckline and an open back. The dress zips up the side waist and there are 2 fabric covered buttons at the back neck.

Please note that there is a small stain by the bottom of the front hem, but it is not very noticeable unless you’re really looking for it because it blends into the folds of the dress when you’re wearing it. It would also likely come out with a professional cleaning. Overall, this dress is in very good wearable vintage condition and was stored in a smoke-free environment.
