1950s Sweetheart Lace Tulle Cupcake Prom Dress with Yellow Rose size XS/S

Make an entrance to remember in this show-stopping vintage prom dress!
This beautiful dress was made during the 1950s. It is constructed from non-stretch fabrics and layers of fluffy tulle. The manufacturer’s tag does not indicate a size, but it would best fit modern sizes extra small or small. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit (dress is clipped to model, it was just a little too big for her).

The bodice of this dress has some really lovely details such as a sweetheart neckline with ruffles, lace, pleating, and a silk yellow rosebud. There is a large tulle bow at the back waist that snaps to secure and cover the metal zipper. The skirt has a sweeping lace design in front, and the back consists of layers of tiered ruffles. The photos show the dress without a petticoat, it really doesn’t need it because the tulle provides so much volume!

Please note that there is a tiny tan spot on the front skirt by the waistline, it is very small and hardly noticeable unless you’re searching for it. The dress could also use some slight reshaping (just needs a little time off the hanger and on a body). Overall, this garment is in amazing vintage condition! There are no rips or major flaws, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.

Waist- 14 inches across.
Hip- open.
Bodice length from center front neckline to natural waist- 9 inches long.
Skirt length from natural waist to hem- 32 inches long.
