1960s Canary Yellow Sequin Beaded Silk Chiffon Sheer Dress size S

This dreamy vintage canary yellow dress is a total showstopper!
Based on the construction details, this dress was made sometime during the 1960s. It is constructed from a bias-cut non-stretch sheer silk chiffon fabric with mesh and sequins/beading. There is no size indicated, but it would best fit a modern size small. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

In addition to the striking color, this dress has some beautiful details such as pleating throughout the bodice, and a fairy-like handkerchief style hem. The neckline is made of nude-colored sheer mesh with sparkling gold sequins and beading on the front and back. There is also a gorgeous layer of nude/sequin mesh under the skirt that gives off a little peek of sparkle as you move about. The dress closes up the side waist with a zipper.

This dress would be perfect for a stage performance, it shows off movement beautifully! Please note that there are a couple of missing sequins/loose threads at the top shoulder, but it’s not very noticeable. This would be a simple repair with a little TLC, or could be worn as-is. Overall, this garment is in very good vintage condition. There are no rips, stains, or odors, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
