Vtg Striped Sequin Tuxedo Dance Costume with Fringe and Bowtie size S

Step into the spotlight in this show-stopping vintage dance costume!
This unique leotard was made in the USA by “Stone” (likely during the 1960s/1970s). The shell is constructed from a felt-like material with a stretchy knit fabric in the back, and adorned with sparkling iridescent sequins and long silky fringe. The tag is marked as a vintage adult size Small, please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

The front of the leotard has an amazing black and white striped bib neckline with the cutest little bowtie! The striped fabric continues on the sleeves, while the contrasting fringe shows off movement in a playful way. This would be an excellent piece for a Halloween/Theater/Burlesque costume, or simply for display!

Please note that there are a few minor flaws:
The bib could use a restitch where it is coming apart from the rest of the fabric on the right side (about a 1 inch section). The elastic at the sleeve cuffs has lost it’s stretch over the years. There are some areas of yellowing on the back of the right sleeve, and a couple small red spots on the fringe. And lastly, there is a tiny hole in the back at about waist level. All of these issues are shown clearly in the photos and are not very noticeable in person unless you are searching for them. Overall, this garment is in good, wearable, vintage condition. It was stored in a smoke-free environment and is just begging to be brought back to the stage!

Waist- 13 inches across.
Hip- 15 inches across.
Length from- 25 inches long.
Sleeve inseam- 20 inches long.
