Helloooo nurse!
This fantastic rare vintage WWII era nurse’s uniform was made during the 1940’s by Hoover, NY.
It is constructed from a non-stretch cotton fabric with lucite shank buttons, and it has American Red Cross volunteer patches on the chest and sleeve. It even has POCKETS! There is no size indicated, but it would best fit a modern size small (the mannequin in photos is a size 4). Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
This striped beauty has a detachable belt at the natural waist that buttons in the back. The white cuffs and shoulder details add a nice visual contrast.
Please note that there is some discoloration on the white sleeves (but they would probably clean up nicely with a good soak), and there is one small crescent-shaped stain on the back of the skirt. Overall, this garment is in very good vintage condition and has a lot of life left in it!
Measurements taken closed, lying flat.
Bust- 17 inches across.
Waist- 14 inches across.
Hip- 18 inches across.
Length- 42 inches long.
