1920s Handmade Gold Brocade and Velvet Jester’s Robe Costume size S/M

This beautiful piece of history is so unique!

This vintage jesters robe was handmade during the 1920s. It was discovered in Northern Vermont with a group of other fabulous 1920s items. There is no size indicated, but it would best fit modern women’s US sizes 2-8. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

The fabric is a golden brocade with velvet spaids and a woven lining. The colors are beautiful rich jewel tones that contrast nicely against the gold.
The neckline plunges 9.5 inches. The robe slips over your head and is open on both sides, making it comfortable and easy to move around in.

Please note 2 small marks...one on the interior of the back side (not noticable when you are wearing it), and a small black spot on the back. Over all this garment is in very good condition for its age (almost 100 years old!), and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
It would make a perfect costume for Halloween or Theater, or could be an excellent addition to any circus themed collection.

Waist- 14 inches across (remember the sides are open)
Length- 28.5 inches long.
