This fabulous 1960s dress is such a little charmer!
The dress is handmade so there is no size indicated, but it would best fit a modern size 4. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
The fabric is a very small cord corduroy that could easily pass as velvet. There is not much stretch to the material. Metallic silver trim decorated the neck and waist.
The dress is meant to fit close to the body and flare out from the waistline. The dress has princess seaming at the bust, and the empire waistline highlights the smallest part of your torso. The dress closes up the back with a 21 inch zipper with hook and eye. There is a silver bow on the back waist that snaps on after you have zipped up the dress. Each fitted sleeve cuff has 2 hook and eyes, allowing you to easily fit through them, and also allowing for the cuffs to be flipped up for a different look. There is 2 inches of extra seam allowance at the hem, so the dress could be lengthened if desired.
There are no moth holes, stains or rips. This garment is in great vintage condition and would be perfect for the holidays, or even a costume! (Mad Men, Veruca Salt, Mrs. Claus... you name it!)
