1960s Jackie O UNION MADE Pink Flower and Mesh Pillbox Hat with Pearls and Pink Ribbon
This beautiful "going away" honeymoon hat is a great way to polish any outfit!
This hat was Union Made in the USA in the 1960s. It is made primarily of pink tulle, and pink and peach fabric flowers.
The faux flowers on this hat are layed in one direction, giving it a smooth wave-like quality. Peeking out from the flowers your will find small faux pearls and pearlescent sequins for added visual interest. The left side of the hat has a pretty pink ribbon bow that reaches up to the top center of the hat. There is a layer of tulle surrounding the hat as well. All of these elements combined make for an elegant, feminine, and unique piece.
The rise of the hat measures approximately 3.5 inches tall. The inner band measures 20 inches around. The top of the hat measures 7.5 inches across.
Please note that there is some very SLIGHT yellowing on a few of the flower petals. This is just due to age, and if you ask me it just adds more character and makes the flowers look more authentic. Over all this hat is in good vintage condition and would be perfect for Easter, church, a wedding, or even a Jackie Kennedy costume!
