1960s Burgundy Wool Felt Schoolgirl Circle Skirt with Braided Trim and Pockets size XS/S

This beautifull skirt is just what your Autumn wardrobe needs!

The skirt was handmade in the 1960s. There is no size indicated, but would best fit modern women's sizes XS-Small. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

This garment is mostly constructed out of high quality wool felt in a deep maroon color. The silhouette is fitted at the natural waist and flares out. The circle skirt design shows lots of movement when worn on it's own, and also looks great with a petticoat underneath for added volume.
A beautiful black and gold braided trim decorates the 2 inch waistband and the opening of the pockets on this skirt. There are two large pockets, one on each side of the hip. Both pockets come to a point at the bottom center and provide lots of room to keep your hands warm, and your belongings close by.
The skirt closes up with a 7.5 inch metal zipper at the waist, and secures with a 1.5 inch button.

This skirt is in excellent vintage condition and would look amazing for a fall pin up look, or even a 1960s school girl costume!
