Wether you are lounging around your loft, or strutting down the sidewalk, this fabulous kimono is sure to take your look to the next level!
The robe was made in Japan during the 1960s by Hayashi Kimono. It is made of 100% silk with gorgeous embroidery on the front and back. There is no size indicated, but it would best fit modern womens US sizes 4-8. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit. The robe was photographed on a size 6 mannequin.
The embroidery is the star of this garment! Minty green embroidered flowers and vines cascade down the back of the robe, as well as both sides of the front shoulder.
The kimono has two front hip pockets and ties at the waist with a silk belt. The robe lands at about knee length and is fully lined with off-white colored silk.
Please note that this robe has been freshly dry cleaned, yet there are a few small signs of wear. A small circular spot on the center front panel, a water mark on the belt, and a quarter sized spot that is slightly discolored on the back left shoulder. There is also some discoloration on the lining. These areas are not very noticeable in person unless you are really looking for them, and it really adds character! These small imperfections are shown in the photos and have been reflected in the price of the item. Over all this robe is in good vintage condition and would look fabulous paired with skinny jeans and simple top for every day wear! There are no rips or piling, and this item was stored in a smoke-free environment.
