1970s DEADSTOCK Arora Borealis Sequin and Beaded Silk Short Sleeve Blouse size S/M

Shimmer and shine in this breathtaking vintage blouse!

The blouse was made during the 1980s by "Petite Illustrations". The fabric is 100% silk with a rayon lining. The tags are still attached, this beauty has never been worn! The tag says size small, it would best fit modern womens sizes 6-8. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

The blouse is adorned with thousands of blue sequins that have an arora borealis rainbow hue. The sequins look amazing under stage lights, on the dance floor, and in photographs. The neckline, sleeves, and hem are edged with glass tube beads that have the same reflective shine. You can feel the high quality of the shirt's construction by the feel of the materials used. Bonus!-since the garment has never been worn, it comes with the original small bag of extra beads and sequins!

The garment was designed on the bias cut so it drapes beautifully on the human form. The deep v-neckline elongates the body and draws attention up towards the face for a flattering silhouette.

There are no stains, holes, or missing beads/sequins. This blouse is in excellent vintage condition and was stored in a smoke-free environment.
