2 Mid-Century Adorable Ceramic Kitty Figurines

Decorate your home with this pair of two lovely little kitties!

Both kitty figurines are made of ceramic and are from the mid century. The white kitten is likely from the late 1970s, and the brown kitten is from the 1960s.

The white kitty has a sweet little face with blue eyes and a matching bow. The fur is sculpted in great detail, giving piece excellent texture throughout. The bottom of the figurine is stamped 57437. The base of the figure measures 3.25 inches x 4 inches. The height measures 5.5 inches tall.
There is a reservoir in the back end of the body that was originally intended to be a sugar bowl, but had previously been used to hold pens. It could still be used for either purpose, or you can find a new creative use for it...it would make a lovely succulent planter for example! Some of the paint has worn off the cat's blue bow and there are pen marks on the inside of the reservoir, but overall it is in good shape.

The brown kitty has a Japanese inspired look to it and the bottom is stamped 49. The kitten is 6 inches tall, and the base of the figure measures 3 inches wide. The large blue eyes and long eyelashes give it a sweet and playful expression. The pink ears and paws are a nice contrast against the brown and white fur. The fur markings are painted and sealed with a high gloss finish. There is a very small amount of crackling on the lower chin area, and there is a small chip on the back where the tail has been repaired. These condition issues are only noticeable if you look very VERY close.
