This beautiful vintage necklace is stylish and timeless!
The necklace was made during the 1970s, and is constructed out of high quality costume materials.
This choker style necklace is composed of eight gold-tone curved plates that are linked together. The necklace has a curve to it so it lies nicely around the neck. The total length of the necklace measures 13.5 inches long.
The gold segments measure 3/4 of an inch tall, by 1 and 3/4 inches wide. They have an interesting organic texture to them that has a bit of a tribal look to it.
There is a small amount of discoloration if you look very close (see close up photos), but it is hardly noticeable. Over all this necklace is in good condition. The hook clasp works great, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
This would make an excellent piece for every day life, and also a great costume
accessory! Princess Leah, Cleopatra, Xena, Greek Goddess...you name it!
