1960s Teal Silk Cheongsam Wiggle Dress with Short Sleeves and Mandarin Collar size S

Add a bit of Asian influence to your everyday look with this fabulous vintage cheongsam dress! The color is much more rich and vibrant in person. Teal is a tricky color to photograph so the pictures really don't do it justice!

The dress was made and hand taylored in Hong Kong during the 1960s. It is constructed from silk and rayon and would best fit a modern US women's size small. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

The beautiful teal silk fabric has an all-over silver and black floral print. The color of the fabric is best represented in the close up photo. As mentioned before, the color is much more vibrant in person. The dress is fully lined with a silver rayon fabric.
The neckline closes up the side of the bust with two toggles and hook/eye that lead up to the mandarin collar. The toggles are made of starched fabric that has been scultped into intricate and beautiful designs.There are darts at the waist for a flattering fit, and the dress closes up the left side waist with a metal zipper.

This dress would look fabulous with your favorite pumps for a cocktail party, and could even double as a costume if desired!
There are no holes, stains, or piling. This garment is in excellent vintage condition and was stored in a smoke-free environment.
