This lovely little romper could be worn for everyday life, or could be used as part of a time period costume for theater, film, Halloween...the possibilities are endless!
The jumpsuit was made during the 1950s-1960s. It is made of 100% lightweight cotton and is breezy and comfortable to wear. There is no size indincated, but it would best fit women's modern US sizes 0-2. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
The lace neckline comes to a V in the front. The flutterly lace details draw attention up toward the face, while elastic accentuates the smallest part of the waist. Scalloped trim decorates the hem of the bloomers for a playful and feminine feel. The garment closes up the back with three buttons. One of the buttons is different from the other two and gives this piece a little quirky character.
Please note that there is some staining under the armhole, as well as a spot of red paint on the top right shoulder (this romper was likely used as part of a theater costume, the red paint probably occured backstage). Please see close-up photos to view these issues in detail. There are no holes or piling, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment. Over all this play suit is in good shape and has a lot of life left in it.
