RESERVED- 1960s Tooled Leather Handbag with Tortoise Lucite Handle

Take your western inspired look to the next level with this fabulous vintage purse!

The purse is made of genuine leather with brass hardware and a lucite handle. The base of the bag measures 10.5 inches x 5 inches. The body of the handbag measures 4.5 inches tall, by 10.5 inches wide.

The leather on this bag is hand-tooled with tropical flower and leaf designs throughout. Thick black stitching borders the edges of the bag and contrasts nicely against the amber leather. The handle is made of tortoise shell lucite and brass, and hangs approximately 4 inches long. The base of the bag is flat so it stands up well on it's own and will not topple over when you set it down. The base has a tooled geometric diamondback pattern and shows very little wear.

The handbag opens and closes with a brass turn-key clasp in the front. The bag opens to reveal a dark brown leather lining, and one interior pocket. The inside of the bag is large enough to fit your wallet, iphone, lipstick, and all the essential purse items.

There is a small amount of wear on the lining and the clasp (see close up photos) , but over all this piece is in excellent vintage condition and has a lot of life left in it. There are no holes or stains, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
