This beautiful vintage maxi dress is perfect for the stylish free spirit!
The dress was made in San Fransisco, California by Gunne Sax in the early 1970s. There is no size indicated, but it would best fit modern US women’s sizes 0-2. The fabric does not have much stretch to it. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
The natural, medium-weight cotton fabric makes this dress breathable and comfortable to wear. The beautiful orange and deep blue 70s floral print contrasts beautifully against the canvas patchwork segments of the dress. A lovely chevron scalloped trim decorates the sleeves, neckline and skirt.
The dress closes up the back with a 15 inch zipper. The lace-up neckline is decorative, not actually coresetted. It has a detachable panel behind it that could be removed if you want to show a little more skin!
Please note that there is one small lightt brown stain on the front of the skirt on the canvas panel. It blends in quite well and is hardly noticeable. Over all this garment is in excellent vintage condition. There are no rips, or piling, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
This dress would be perfect for a date night or music festival!
