This hat was Union Made in the USA during the early 1960s. The fabulous colors and fabrics are very striking in person! Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.
The hat has turban cloche design elements to it. The fabric is layered into rows, and there is a pretty mesh veil attached for added drama. It would look great for any classy springtime occasion!
The rise of the hat is 5 inches tall. It measures 7 inches across the top. The inner band measures 21.5 inches around.
The fabric has an off-white paisley design in the background with flowers of gold, magenta, and greens in the forefront. The floral fabric has metallic gold threads woven throughout that really shine!
The mesh veil is lightly sewn down in the back to keep it in place. The veil can be extended to cover the entire hat, or could be worn draped down the back side. There is a tear in the mesh veil (please see photos), but it is hardly noticeable when being worn. It could easily be repaired with a little TLC.
Over all this hat is in very good vintage condition and has a lot of life left to it! There are no stains or piling, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
