Add a bit of style to your storage solution with this vintage hat box!
This hat box was made by Stetson during the 1950s. Stetson is known for producing high quality fedoras and cowboy hats since 1865. This particular box originally held the Stetson Stratoliner, and has an airplane themed box.
The box is made of metallic silver cardboard and has the blue Stratoliner sticker on the side. The box also comes with the travel strap! The strap is usually the first piece to go missing, and really adds a lot of character.
The box measures 15 inches long, by 10 inches wide across the top of the lid. The depth of the box measures 7 inches deep. The interior of the box is in excellent condition.
There are some signs of wear that can be seen clearly on the exterior of the box. There are several scuffs and scratches that show the age of the piece, but do not affect its functionality. The box was previously used as a prop for Mr.Murray’s Community Theater, as seen etched on the top of the lid. These imperfections add a ton of character to this little slice of history!
The box was stored in a smoke-free environment and would make a lovely houewarming gift, theater or film prop, or simply a fun way to store things in your home!
