1960s Floral Needlepoint Wall Hanging Art in Tiny Standing Oval Filigree Frame

This lovely little mid-century textile art would make a wonderful addition to your home decor!

This piece was made by hand during the 1960s. Including the frame, it measures 3.5 inches tall, by 2.5 inches wide.

The needlepoint work is slightly abstract, but is clearly recognizable as a small bouquet of flowers. The flowers vary in size and shape, and come in an array of purples, yellows, oranges, pinks, blues, and teals, inside a burgundy vase. The flowers contrast nicely against the cream background, and give off a lovley romantic vintage vibe.

The little frame is made of brass with an antique finish. There are lots of small floral details in the filigree frame that add extra charm. The frame has a stand in the back so it could sit on your bedside table or shelf, but it also has a ring at the top so it can be easily hung on a wall. This versatile piece of decor would make a fabulous housewarming gift!

There is some slight discoloration on the paper on the back of the piece that shows it’s age, but it is hardly noticeable.
Over all this item is in great vintage condition, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
