1950s Silk Olive Green Belted Wiggle Dress with Dramatic Bow Collar size L/XL

This sophisticated vintage dress is high in quality and in style!

The dress was made during the 1950s by Wilshire of Boston. It is made of a beautful olive green silk. There is no size indicated, but it would best fit modern women’s US sizes 12-14. It is clipped to a smaller sized mannequin to show the silhouette. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

The classic silhouette of this dress enhances an hourglass figure. It is fitted throughout the bust, waist and hips, and really shows off your curves! There are darts at the bust and waist, to ensure a flattering fit. There is a 1.5 inch belt, and pleating at the front waist at hip level adds a bit of extra curve and flare to the design.

This garment is fully lined. It lands at knee level and has an extra 2 inches of seam allowance at the hem. The dress closes up the side waist with a 12 inch metal zipper.

The collar of this dress is outstanding! Large lapels wrap around the shoulders and meet in the front bust to form a bow, showing off the collar bones and drawing attention up toward the face.
