1980s Purple Pinup Bombshell Sweetheart Dress with Rouched Shoulders size M

Step into the spotlight with this fabulous 80s does 50s pinup dress!

The dress was made in the USA during the late 1980s by “Roberta”. There is no size indicated, but this dress would best fit modern women’s US sizes 6-8. It is pinned to a size 4 mannequin in the photos to represent the silhouette. Please see measurements below to guarantee fit.

The silk-feel fabric of this garment is lightweight and contains little stretch. The vibrant violet color looks great paired with several different colors so you can easily find shoes, shawls, and purses to match!

The dress is fitted throughout the bust and waist and flares out with a half circle skirt. There is princess seaming throughout the waist, and the dress closes up the back with a 13 inch zipper.

The dress is shown in the photos with a light-volume petticoat underneath to show how it looks with a little extra volume (petticoat sold separately). The skirt shows off lots of movement and would look great twirling on the dance floor!
The sweetheart neckline has 4 fabric covered buttons in the center, and the shoulders are rouched. These design elements bring attention up toward the face so that YOU are the star.

Please note that there are some slight whited areas at the underarms, but over all this dress is in good vintage condition. There are no rips or piling, and it was stored in a smoke-free environment.
