This pair of earrings was made during the late 1960s. They are made from amethyst crystal and silver-tone costume metals.
These earrings really sparkle in person! The silver filigree design has some incredible detail and evokes a very art nouveau vibe. The deep purple amethyst stones contrast nicely against the silver. The metal on these earrings has an intentional antiqued look so that they appear slightly distressed, giving them that great vintage heirloom look. They have screw-back backings and are comfortable to wear- not super heavy. They measure 1 inch long, by half an inch wide.
